The Haring Party is a celebration of the start of summer – a festive gathering that brings our community together to enjoy not just a Dutch snack, but Dutch culture at its fullest. At the heart of the event is the Hollandse Nieuwe, or new herring, or "Dutch sashimi" – A fresh, unique flavor and cultural significance.

First introduced by DBAV in 2023, the Haring Party quickly became more than just a seasonal celebration. It's now a signature event that blends tradition, connection, and the joyful spirit of summer, uniting members, friends, and partners from diverse backgrounds. Since then, each edition has attracted 150 members and friends.

This year will be the 3rd edition! We'll also take this opportunity to bid farewell to Christoph Prommersberger, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Daniël Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in HCMC.
