LEGO® bricks are becoming increasingly popular in corporate offices, coaching sessions, and secondary school and university classrooms. The power of 3D thinking and sensemaking using the LEGO® Serious Play® Method (LSP, as insiders call it) is becoming more widely recognized and used to improve team communication, learning, ideation, and the resolution of difficult situations. The idea of using LEGO® bricks as a tool for building strategy originated at the LEGO Group itself.
For years, it has been employed for strategic planning, team alignment, project planning, and problem-solving, among other applications. As it was not part of their core focus, the LEGO Group released the methodology to the community and made it open source in 2010. Since then, it has become an innovation tool, facilitation method, and learning pedagogy adopted worldwide, with applications in a wide range of situations.
On 14 August, we will be offering a teaser session to demonstrate the power of LEGO® Serious Play® methods at the DBAV Workshop Wednesday, in collaboration with DBAV esteemed member Thijs van Loon. This session is for trainers, educators, facilitators, coaches, and anyone else interested in optimizing 3D thinking, creativity, and learning.
Please RSVP by August 12th. Entry is free and exclusive for DBAV Members. Snacks and drinks will be available, and there will be a chance to network with other fellow members.
We look forward to welcoming you here!
